Toronto Marathon, Rock 'n' Roll Denver 10k and NACAC Mountain Championships in Mexico

Sunday, October 20th, Boulder Underground raced in three countries.

In Canada, Enoch Nadler ran a four minute PR in the Toronto Marathon, running 2:13. He was 9th over all and first American.

In the US, at altitude in Denver, Cassi Ahrens and Anh Bui ran the Rock ‘n’ Roll 10k. Ahrens ran 41:34 and was the 3rd woman. Bui ran 44:04 and was the 4th woman.

Callie Hiner raced in Denver too, but she ran the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half. She ran a four minute PR (her previous best was at sea level), running 1:41:54.

In Mexico, David Fuentes was 7th on the 12k course at the NACAC Mountain Championships.

Thank you for all the messages, posts and encouragement the past 24 hours! ( and all the support and inspiration from Team FTC the past 3 years) I am beyond proud of the race I ran yesterday! I knew that I had a strong Marathon in me but you never know coming into race day. It's been a long 6 months of hot running since Boston but I never gave up on the dream of running a big Marathon PR this fall. And to negative split the back half and run the last 15k pretty much alone was a great feeling. Most of all, thank you to Angela, for your support over the past three years with my running ( and the years in Dallas) and especially the last 12 months where I've been in full-on Marathon mode. The early mornings and the evening doubles aren't easy but having your support gets me through. This race doesn't happen without you! (And for riding/running all over the course yesterday to cheer me on!) We are enjoying Toronto today by bike, eating great food, and heading to Niagra Falls tomorrow! @boulder_underground @angeeebaebee

7th overall and Silver for Team USA men at the NACAC Mountain Championships! The altitude, the mud, the ascents, and descents made for an incredible race. Red lined HARD in the first two miles climbing up to ~8k feet, got passed by basically everyone, but clawed my way back and took some serious risks on the downhill for 7th! It’s the small wins! . . HUGE props to @wackera and @dan_yell_a for the overall wins, for Team USA women for the overall Gold!
