“I really enjoyed working with Matt as my coach for the 2019 CIM Marathon. Having him to support me with my training plan, nutrition planning on race day, and my mental struggles along the way really helped me have a solid race. I liked that most of the training focused on perceived effort as opposed to pace. That really helped me dial into myself a little more and not necessarily have to stare at my watch the entire run. I went from a 2:24 to a 2:20 marathon with his help, and I look forward to working with him again as I prepare to improve on my next marathon.”
