Did something new and jumped in my first trail race this morning at the USATF Trail 1/2 Marathon Championships! Podium finish for 🥉!! Had such a blast and super thankful for the opportunity to race again and challenge myself in new way. Thank you @americanbirkebeiner for putting on a safe and fun event! And yes, I raced in my @nike streaks because you can't take the road racer out of me 😆! But I am currently taking any and all trail shoe recommendations because I might need an upgrade before my next off-road adventure 🙏🏼.

All smiles dabbling in some trail this past weekend 😃! It is another animal for sure and I loved every second of it 💚. Glad I gave myself a chance to venture into foreign territory, despite a majority of my training taking place on the track and roads the past couple months. If the heart says do it, you do it. Just out here learning, exploring and trying to grow as an athlete 💪🏼.
